Savestate Hangs

I'm running VB 3.2.4 on Snow Leopard (10.6.4) with a single VM running Windows 7. I can successfully start the VM from the VB GUI or "VBoxManage controlvm 'VMNAME' start". Everything works well until I try to run "VBoxManage controlvm 'VMNAME' savestate" from Terminal. The command never returns in Terminal and the VM is locked up - leaving no choice but to force quit. Interestingly, I can save the state of the VM from the GUI with no problem. Anyone have any ideas?

Same here on Ubuntu 10.04, VBox 3.2.6 r63112. Windows XP guest.
I have not been able to debug this. I wondered if anyone else has.....

Same problem on Linux host. Tried 3.2.6 and 3.2.8.
3.0.x worked just fine.
Saving state from the actual VB guest console window works (by closing it and picking save state from the dialog).
It also seems to work from the command line if the guest is running headless.

No updates, no comments?
Still happening here, now on 3.2.8-64453~Ubuntu~lucid.
And.....when saving state from the GUI, fully 1/3 of the time it either abends/crashes or just quits and does not save state, which then requires a 'cold' restart the next time I start the guest.

I have the same problem on my VBox 3.2.8 Linux host. The Windows guest hangs when saving state from the command line (not from the GUI).
