My virtualbox does not have the checkbox to use an iso image for the cd drive like lot of the documentation mentions. can someone point me to directions to do that?
i have an iso i want my windows 7 guest to boot off of, it seems impossible on mac.

File > Virtual Media Manager, click on tab CD/DVD Images and add the ISO there. Next, you open the VM settings, click on Storage on the left and select the CD/DVD drive (identifiable by the disc icon) in the middle. Then on the right you click on the CD/DVD Device dropdown and pick the ISO from the list.

You could also just drag'n'drop an ISO on it
