Guest Additions Not Recognized

Post by dj.quam »

I run running VM Virtual Box 3.2.2 on Windows 7 host and Fedora 12 Constantine guest. I have installed Guest Additions according to user manual, but I am still unable to make my Fedora screen fill my entire display. When I look at the display at the bottom right of the screen regarding mouse integration, it suggests that Guest Additions have not been installed. I have rebooted host several times. Please advise. Thank you.

Are you really sure you installed the Guest Additions? Press HostKey+N for the session information window and check if the correct guest additions version is displayed.

Instead of following the User Manual, see if you missed a step using my Howto: Install Linux Guest Additions + Xorg config.
