Runtime problem: Error -610 supR3HardenedMainInitRuntime!

I've used VirtualBox in the past on many different machines/configurations but have encountered the following problem this time.

I am installing on a:
iMac
2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
OS: 10.5.8

After a routine install, I tried to run VirtualBox from the 'Applications' folder. Each time I try to run it, it fails to load.

I have grabbed the following messages from my 'Console'

VirtualBox: Tip! It may help to reintall VirtualBox.

And I have reinstalled MANY times and continue to get the same error! I have no clue as to why this isn't working properly...

I have also tried running the application from its 'Package Contents' and get this error.

Thats really strange. I just checked 3.2.2 under 10.5.8 and it works without any problems. Have you replaced your iconv by another software? Mine is from Sep 24 2007 and 4147008 bytes in size.

I don't think I have, but it may have happened unintentionally.

Would you know if there is any way to fix this?

Mine is from March 2 2009 and is 986016 bytes, so I guess it is different.

I haven't a clue as to why it is, but would anyone know if there is some way I could patch it, or would I need to restore my system?

After upgrading my Mac to OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard, VirtualBox was able to launch without any problems!
