Fixed?– Microphone doesn't work in Windows guest on OSX host

According to Ticket 5869 this problem is fixed.

Has anyone got this to work?

Running VBox 3.2.0 on a MacBook Pro 3,1 with Snow Leopard 10.6.3 Host and Windows 7 (64Bit) Guest, I still have this issue.

I did install Realtek AC97 drivers to enable sound previously.

I'll try updating drivers inside the guest to see how this goes.
 Edit: Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't work; Windows Updates tells me I have the best drivers already. So for now, no mic :(

VBox is set to enable Audio on Guest: CoreAudio/ICH AC97
