How is my Windows Host's specs for VirtualBox?

Hi, I am used to Virtualbox in Linux and recently, I've moved to Windows as host. I have a few questions and will list them below in order.

My Windows Host's specs

Windows 2008 64-Bit
16 threaded/cores CPU (Dual Xeon)
24GB DDR2 @ 667 MHz

1. How many virtual machines do you think I can run simultaneously? (if each VM will have same specs)
2. Do you have tips/hints to run many VM without problems

Regards

I will like to update my questions.

3. Can I set all VM to the same the same specs like below?

For example, I have a total of 24GB RAM but I set all my 6 VM to 8GB each. 8GB*6 72GB. I want to set each high because sometimes users don't use a lot and I don't want to limit each user to very low specs like 512MB each user. I want it to feel like many users are logged in as a normal User into a big Windows 2008 Server OS but I want to use VB because it'll allow each user to reboot whenever they want. If it's just login to a Windows 2008 Server like Remote Desktop, if one user restarts the machine, all other users also got restarted and destroy their work! Got what I mean?

IMHO, Not even with memory ballooning (which is new and not tested or supported fully yet) will this work.

I see. I just tried running 3 VM's and my memory usage jumped to 12GB :( it sounds bad

you can run about 2 VMs per thread or per GB of RAM. (XP guests)

32 VMs should work good on it. Maybe 64 VMs with some stretch and slow performance.

Ok, I kind of get the idea. The more I should be able to run if each VM isn't using much power right? I was hoping I could run at least 20-30 VM's.
