Hi all,
I would appreciate if someone can help me solving a problem I encouter trying to use the "bridged networking" mode for a Linux (Scientific Linux 5.4 64bit) guest on a OSX SnowLeopard Server.
Everything works fine with NAT networking, but I would like to use bridged networking to be able to access to the guest from other computers in our local network. Unfortunately, if I set up the connextion in "bridged networking" mode, the guest does not get an IP from the DHCP server and hence has no access to the network.
With the same computer but in Leopard Server and the guest as Linux 32bit, "bridged networking" worked well. It was after I upgraded OSX to SnowLeopar Server that the problem appeared.
I have no clue were in the logs should I search for a problem on either the host or guest sides. Also, I don't know what may have changed between Leopard Server and SnowLeopard Server that could lead to this stopper.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Miguel
