Cannot Install Guest Additions

Hi, i cannot install Guest Additions in Windows XP with Virtualbox Box 3.2. beta 2. Host is MacOs 10.6.3. I think, the problem is, that i cannot find a Cd/DVD device on my virtual disk. How can i fix a New Cd/dvd device on the disk? Is there any help?

With the guest shut down (not saved) select the guest additions in the storage settings of the guest and mount it there. Start the guest and see if you have the additions available. Some people state they need to enable passthrough on the CD/DVD in the storage settings.

Thank you for your answer. I solved the problem by this way: I reinstalled the lacking CD/DVD Device in VB by following Microsoft ticket: MicrosoftFixit 50027.msi and then I could install the VB Guest Additions without problems.
