Hi,

Mac OS/X 10.6 Host
Ubuntu 10.04 Guest

This is probably a dumb question but now that I've done installing the guest additions, how to I tell vbox I don't need it anymore?

I can unmount it but the next time I start the VM it comes back.

Either use the devices tab to remove the CD/DVD (unmount) or set the CD/DVD to empty in the storage settings for the guest.
