shared folder Kernel oops in the guest

Post by es1 »

Hello VBoxers,

I faced today a kernel oops in a guest while accessing shared folder.
Any help will be appreciated.

Here are the details:
Host: Fedora 11 with recent updates
Guest: Fedora 13 Beta with recent updates
Shared folder with many files and large directories, the VirtualBox sources and Fedora 13 full repository.

Running grep in the shared folder caused the oops.
Logs and oops capture is in the attached files.

btw: The 'ls -l' of large directories in shared folders is much slower then in native hard drive

Thanks

Is fedora 13 Beta 1 the only program that causes this?
Do your other guests behave as normal?
