64bit host: XUbuntu guest: 32 or 64-bit?

Which would get better performance assuming I'm going to give it at most 512MB RAM?
Both will work at 512. The 32-bit version will work at 256 fine. 64-bit takes a little more but 512 will run it OK.
Of course these are minimum. Anything more will make it run faster as you will not be swapping as much.
