sdmod hangs when using ata_piix

Post by Perry Werneck »

Hi,

I'm running virtualbox on a SuSE 11.1 machine as host and I'm testing another SuSE 11.1 as guest but it's hanging on HD start.

I did a few tests here and, when I try do load the guest machine using ata_piix (the correct one) it always hang loading the sd_mod driver, but, if I force the piix driver it works fine. Doing the same teste in a "real" machine everything goes ok.

Any clues woud be appreciated.

When it hangs the screen shows...
