NTLDR missing after VB update
I just updated to the latest build 3.1.6 r59351. Now when I try to load Windows XP I get a NTLDR is missing message. When I put in the intall disc to load from that it is actually reinstalling. Is this normal for updates?

Re: NTLDR missing after VB update
This should not happen. I think something broke on your VM install itself. It wouldn't be the first time that Windows breaks itself with an update or otherwise. Sometimes anti-virus software can cause this.
When you boot the VM with the install disc, you should have a repair option available that drops you to a command line for recovery.
