Installing XP Pro from 3 .exe files?

I purchased my copy of XP Pro from a site online and it gave me the "install disk" via 3 .exe files (disk 1, disk 2, disk 3). I've already added a new partition, but how can I actually start with the install since I don't have the disk to boot the VM? I even tried burning all three of those files to a dvd but that didnt work either...Need help ASAP please - thanks!

If that was a real purchase there should be instructions on what to do, else contact the sales site.

I would be very suspicious. I have never heard of a legal copy of Windows XP being distributed this way.

Read FAQ:(http://www.oemsoft.ws/faq.php)
Why is the software cheap?
You can take the software for downloading only! You don't have to pay for frilly package, license and printing user manual, which altogether makes up the majority of the total value. But, unfortunately, in this case you cannot get a technical support and different additional discounts from the producer. Also you can take updates which are available for the majority of our products. Finally, you will not pay for the delivery.

That should have told you it was a pirated software.
Check it out. http://www.microsoft.com/piracy/
Report them there as well.

Ask them if you can get your money back. If not then it looks like it.
If they say that it is legit them ask them how you are supposed to install it. Push them and if they refuse you can always report them.

I don't know about this site in particular, but I have heard of some other ones like this. They tend to be based in Eastern Europe and I doubt the threat of being reported will make them lose any sleep.

And yes, I would say you are probably screwed out of your $

I did a little more searching. I couldn't come up with who the domain is actually registered to, but it was registered through a Russian domain registrar. That should probably tell you something.

The first thing that it would tell me: a new credit card is a good choice.

Haha I can't believe it...I have always been cautious & I knew the site looked iffy, but my brother said his company used to use this site (I later found out it was back when they would still mail the install CDs...not anymore!)
So I canceled my card. When the transaction clears, I will file a claim with my bank. I did try calling every single number from the Who Is records and none of them worked. I even tried emailing all of the emails from that, too with my questions and haven't gotten anything back...

Well, thanks everyone for the info! UGH!!
Glad it was only $50..I guess I am just worried they have my address still..
