Loosing mouse integration in Ubuntu 9.10 guest

Post by rpz79 »

Hello ,

Well I've reinstalled (hopefully for the last time) Ubuntu 9.10 notebook-remix version in vBox.
Configured the screen (using http://forum.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.p ... 1a#p132777) to my laptop's size (1366x768) and added mouse integration.
The big problem is that after several clicks on the guset or the host machine the mouse doesn't respond to button clicks anymore.
It wasn't so before I changed my screen size , another thing is that when I hove above the taskbar's icons the tooltips are shown in the background of the desktop instead of being in the foreground of it.

Attached herewith are my Xorg.conf and screenshots of my display settings and error messege (top right, suddenly all the BG there became black too):

There is a serious problem with the screen defs. the guest system crashes all the time.
I cannot update to Ubuntu 10.04 LTS because I cannot navigate to the root password confimation , even the ALT+TAB doesn't function :(
Here is another notification I get:

Why there isn't a manual for screen definitions and problems ??? I'm thinking about moving to dual boot now.... :|
