I have installed vitual box on Leopard.
Leopard does not recognise my CD with the orifginal Windows XP installation disc.
I have then installed windows XP from ISO file. That worked.
The blue windows setup screen appears
Finallyu I am asked to pres F8 to agree with the endusers license agreement.
Now I have a problem. When I prees F8 the key works as on my mac ( the music starts playiong) and i cannot get any further in the installation proces.
What to do?
How do I link my DVD player?

fn+f8 will work for the F8 key press.
You might need to set the CD/DVD to passthrough do be able to install from it.

Re: Problems installing WINDOWS XP in virtual box on Leopard
When loading Vbox, I directed the install to my hard drive, but I keep getting the
following message:
FATAL: No bootable medium found! System halted.
What did I do wrong, or what do I do to fix it?
Thanks
l.

Tell you what larryrutter,
Create a new post instead of hooking on to one like this since it has nothing to do with your problem and someone will help you.
The reason is your post will get lost if you tag on to one like this.
On the new post be sure to put in everything that you have done so we can tell what you need to do.
Also if you have not found it yet, you have a users manual located in the help of the VirtualBox main program.
