Debian 64 testing GA failure

I am using Debian 64 testing gust on Ubuntu 64 Karmic host. After installation of GA it is basically doesn't function if at all: unable to increase resolution of full screen or by expanding the window, mouse integration doesn't work either. I restarted the host, then tried again and for a second guest addition seems functional with mouth integration and resolution , but after I tried adjusting the window size it stopped working again.
