Shared folders - where are they?

Windows 7 Pro 64 bit + VB 3.1.6 + Solaris

I've set up a shared folder with my Windows host but I can't find it when I boot up Solaris. Where should I be looking so that i can access the folders?

Have just added Open Solaris to VB and I still can't see the shared folder from my Windows host. What am I supposed to do to be able to 'see' the Windows folder?

I always do RTFM. As it happens I found this blog to be of most use regarding Open Solaris:

... and for Solaris I found that using 'Add Network Place' provided the solution to accessing my host folder.

Maybe the manual needs updating

Are you sure you read the manual?

You are confusing, and pointing to a link that describes, Shared Folders with using SMBFS to mount a share from the host.
