Cluster MS with VirtualBox

Post by afterdie »

Anyone has implemented MS Cluster Services (2x W2K3 Server nodes with a shared resource disk)?
It's possible share one virtual disk with two W2K3 nodes?

Try OpenFiler

You can do something like this by creating a thrid VM and installing OpenFiler. OpenFiler is an iSCSI implimentation based on CentOS. Once OpenFiler is set up, you can then point the two MS servers to volumes on the iSCSI setup running in the third VM.

It is free, and pretty easy to use. Check it out at http://www.openfiler.com/

Dear professionals, is it possible to create a clustering environment with out a third VirtualMachine? With out other tools, only with Windows Server 2003 features?
Thank you so much.
