Mapping an unrecognized ISB device (dance mat)

Hi,

I was unable to get a standard (unbranded) usb dance mat recognized by my Snow Leopard,
so I figured I would fire up my winXP partition and play from there.
However, under the "USB Devices" menu, VirtualBox shows this device ("unknown device 045e:0285 [0100]") greyed out and I cannot map it to my windows OS.

Should this happen? is there a way of letting windows deal with finding the right driver without the host mac recognizing it correctly?

Thanks,
Zvika

I have the same issue, but I can actually click on the device but then I get following error message:

"USB device '<unknown>' with UUID {698f722e-ff00-4bd9-aedb-57f8f9faa34b} is busy with a previous request. Please try again later."
