Hi All,

We are having an issue with Windows 7... 32 and 64 guest operating systems only within virtualbox in a domain environment. All other OS's are fine.
The error we are recieving is as follows -

"The trust relationship between this workstation and primary domain failed"

This happens when we have taken a snapshot of the current state and attempt to restore an older version.
Each OS is attached to the domain
The PDC is Windows SBS2003
Main OS - Windows 7 64 Bit with Virtual Box installed on it.

The the following guest OS's are -
XP - 32bit
XP - 64 Bit
Vista - 32bit
Vista 64bit
Windows 7 - 32bit
Windows 7 - 64bit

Has anyone have come across this problem and know of a workaround?

We are seeing the same issue; current vbox version: 4.1.2 r73507

Host: Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
VM: Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

We created a base image and joined the domain. Next, we created a snap shot and then tried to restore a previous snap shot but we are getting trust relationship issues. If we move back to the latest snap shot it works just fine.

Any way to work around this issue??

It is really an Active Directory problem rather then a VirtualBox problem. The same thing would happen if you restored from a backup on a physical machine. If the restore is too old, the trust relation is broken. Same thing can happen if the machine has simply been offline too long.
