fedora red hat in virtual box

Hi there i have just done a yum update to fedora in my virtual box the update went well and i had to reinstall guest additions.Now when i went to restart the machine after i had installed guest additions the login screen will not come up at all it is just blank.Dose any one know if i have done anything wrong.I dont think i have as i have done this before and never had any trouble.Thank you in advance.

Hi and thank you for the reply but i cant even get into the command line i get nothing at all.If i am missing something please let me know as i am new to the linux thing.

You need to start Fedora 12 in single user mode and select the previous kernel, or boot to SU console.
