DirectX

Post by trotfox5 »

I know this is probably a really stupid question  , and that I'm going to get all sorts of flack that I should check the website, but I can't find the answer. I'm forced to use an older version (2.2.4) of VB, I was wondering what it's directX capabilities are if at all. To be more specific I'd like to run Team Fortress 2 on it. I'm running my VM with a gig of ram and 128 megs of video ram.

As far as I know, none at all. DirectX support is still pretty experimental, even in the most recent versions of VirtualBox.

So is there any chance it will run? I've heard of people running valve software before.

You would need to check the requirements of the software you want to run. I am not familiar with it.
