The error message is telling me that the sound card could not be found with the selected port number and it's telling me to check my settings and try again.
Is there a why how I can get the sound card to work under Windows NT 4.0 guest?

I checked the settings and the Creative Labs Sound Blaster driver and only lists I/O Addresses in the range of 210 to 280 and none of them worked.Perryg wrote:Set to soundblaster and use I/O=330, IRQ=5, DMA=1 and see if will work.
That would be fair enough. Even attempting to reinstall VB 1.5.6 with USB support didn't work either, btw.Perryg wrote:I had to open an XP guest to find out but that is what is being used with the soundblaster emulator. Maybe you can change that with setextradata. I have no clue what to put in but maybe someone else will. Also if memory serves, I never used sound on NT 3.51 or 4.0 as I used then as servers and didn't need the sound. Even so I remember that I could configure the I/O's I just don't remember exactly how at the moment. I will see if I can dust off the memory banks and see
