I've just updated to VB 3.1.4 and the problem with KIS reappeared. It turns out that when PAE/NX is enabled, the system hangs when KIS starts. However, when I disable PAE/NX, the system seems to run normally... This seems to be a new issue in 3.1.4, since I had PAE/NX enabled in the previous version of VB (probably 3.1.0), and had no problems.
Host: Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
Guest: Windows XP SP3
