Using 3.1.2 of VirtualBox and Windows 2000 as a guest OS (Linux host; Ubuntu 9.04) I'm unable to get the screen resolution above 1152x864.
Any advice? Workarounds? Or is it re-install time for the guest 2k?

When tried with another Linux distro, it supports up to the resolution of the host - 1680x1050.

So if you use the host+F toggle to go to full screen you have black area around the guest?
Does auto-resize work (mouse click and drag the window) host+G toggle turns this on and off.

Host+F gives large amounts of black space. With Host+G Win2k only resizes after you've manually resized the virtual machine's window. After toggling to and from fullscreen though, resizing appears to work as expected. Bizarre, really.
Keeps the settings after a shutdown and restart too, nice.
