Numlock with ssh -X startup

Numlock with ssh -X startup

I'm running VB over ssh with the -X option. I'm unable to get the NumLock to turn on - my keypad is moving the cursor. Any ideas on what the keystroke might be to turn NumLock on via your OSX X11 tunnel?
