I have VirtualBox installed on a headless server here at my house because I want to be able to access the same virtual machine from home and from my office. I am connecting via my Macs using the command ssh -X -C -v [server] VirtualBox with port forwarding set in my .ssh/config file, and am connecting and using VirtualBox just fine. Does anyone know if it is possible to forward my USB port through so that VirtualBox can print to my local printer?

Can't find a way to forward the USB port, it appears that it's not possible. However, I did get it to work by setting up my local printer as a network printer, and then printing to it. Probably could do some port forwarding magic to get this working in a remote setting, but I only needed it when I'm local. Yay!
