I just installed the Guest Additions on my Ubuntu guest, hoping it would allow me to make the screen larger. Unfortunately, I still cannot resize the guest window.
I have no problems with my Win 7 guest, only Ubuntu.
Does anyone have any tips that may help solve this issue? Thanks!
*Running Mac OS X 10.6.2*

Re: Ubuntu guest - Cannot go full screen
Try the host+G toggle to make sure that the auto-resize mode is turned on.

Re: Ubuntu guest - Cannot go full screen
I would look at the /var/log/vboxadd-install.log and the /var/log/xorg.0.log for errors.
What version of Ubuntu are you using?
During install did you notice any errors?
Are there any mode entries in the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file?
