How to adjust window 7 display

Post by nizzok »

Hi all,

I'm running win 7 guest on a ubuntu 9.10 host, on a Lenovo g450 (celeron) laptop. I've added the quest partitions, but the windows 7 screen is always bigger than the laptop screen, and I have to annoyingly scroll to look at various windows. Does anyone have a solution on how to constrain the display to the screen? I've tried playing with the resolution in the graphics properties, but no dice.

thanks in advance.

Hi,

Yes, I have. See above. The issue is not, not being able to resize at all, but the fact that the display is always larger than my laptop screen. I think it might have to do with how the graphics card interprets the monitor, because it assigns it as a generic monitor with no options to change it.

Ok, sorry. I did not know what "quest partitions" were.
