Dear Sirs,
I tried to install Windows Server 2008 64bit as guest OS (the host OS is windows 7 Ultimate 64bit on Intel I7 processor 720), but the installation interrupted and the guest OS gave a message that the processor is not 64bit!!
I think I made a mistake somewhere in the settings, but I cannot recognize the issue.
Your helpful replies are highly appreciated.
Thanks

Hardware-v must be turned on in the PCs bios for you to be able to run 64 bit OSes.

Thank You Mr. Perryg for your reply,
Sorry for the question. How it accepts running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit?
Thank you again.

Well you see that is the main OS and your PC supports 64 bit.
But to be able to run 64 bit in VirtualBox and run another 64 bit OS you must have hardware virtualization and it must be enabled in the bios.
