setting windows 7 screen definition on iMac
I cannot properly set screen definition on my iMac when using windows 7 within virtualbox.
The available options are few and there is not the one I need.
So I see a narrow screen on my wide iMac desktop.
Amy idea?
Thanks.
Windows 7 on virtualbox ver. 3.1.2
iMac OS 10.6.2
I found the easiest solution: installed guest additions, manually resized windows with mouse and then clicked on "resize guest window".
It works!
thanks.

Re: setting windows 7 screen definition on iMac
Install guest additions. Look into the manual how to setup custom resolutions.

Re: setting windows 7 screen definition on iMac
I already installed guest addition, indeed now I can use audio within Windows 7.stefan.becker wrote:Install guest additions. Look into the manual how to setup custom resolutions.
I found this: "For guest operating systems with VirtualBox Guest Additions, a custom video mode can be set using the video mode hint feature."
But I cannot understand what "video mode hint feature" is and how I could use it
Many thanks!
