Hi, I was just wondering when you browse/download things, will you get bugs from that, and get it on the Mac? Thanks in advance!

Sorry, but a bug means a software error. Do you mean a Virus or a trojan horse?

Never say never.
But this is not a real problem. Because Win Software is not compatible with MAC.
Generally there is no difference between Host/Guest and different PCs in the Net.

Can your Windows XP guest become infected with a virus or worm? YES.
Can an infected VirtualBox guest infect the VirtualBox host? YES.
Can an infected Windows PC (or VM) infect a Mac PC (or host)? It's less common, but probably YES.
See this post:
Using Virtualbox guest OS as test OS for Malware removal
... and this page:
http://superuser.com/questions/29611/ca ... t-computer.
The above page recomended NOT using bridged mode, but I don't agree with that. Yes using bridged mode may make it easier for malware to discover the host (because the guest and host are on the same subnet), but if using NAT it will be hard or impossible for the host to firewall block the guest.
