No USB Microphone audio input, can't use IM or Rosetta Stone
I have a wireless Logitech headset that I want to use for my IM voice chats and Rosetta Stone program but sadly I cannot input any audio. When I try with the "Sound Recoder" in Windows, the signal graph won't move a thing. Help?

You need to select the USB device as the 'Sound Recording' device from the Control Panel or the application itself.

Re: No USB Microphone audio input, can't use IM or Rosetta Stone
I can't do it. When I VirtualBox, at the top bar there are three menus right. There are "Machine", "Devices" and the Snapshot name on the right. I click on "Devices" and go to "USB Devices", my Logitech Wireless Headset is greyed out and there is no check mark in the BOX. So I cannot not give it a check mark to use it.
I tried
First try
Pulse Audio
ICH AC97
Input doesn't work, only Output works. Output audio is clear.
2nd try
ALSA Audio
ICH AC97
Input and Output work but distorted.
3rd try
Pulse Audio
ICH AC97
Input and Output work but only Output is clear. The input is kinda buggy, it seems like there are frame skips but I do hear what I record. That's not good enough for Rosetta Stone
Next, I'll try with SoundBlaster.
