Problem with Win XP installation

Post by cs2010 »

I have recently purchased a new 21.5" iMac with wired keyboard and Magic Mouse, running OS X Snow Leopard.

I installed VirtualBox without any problems, but ran into difficulties when it came to installing Win XP Pro. It gets as far as the license agreement screen, and requires the user to press F8 to continue. The problem is that pressing F8 starts iTunes ! I have tried combinations of Ctrl, Alt and Cmd with F8, but nothing works. The keyboard and mouse have been captured by Virtual Box, and the page down key does work, but I can't get past the 'Press F8 to continue' part.

Any ideas ?

Thanks,
Chris.

That worked, and Win XP is now installed.

How do I get the Virtual Box window to be the same size as the Win XP window ? Whatever settings I have tried, the windows desktop is truncated.
