pass through a Silicon Image 5744 USB enclosure

Hi,
I am running osx leopard host and trying to pass the Silicon Image 5744 USB enclosure to my solaris guest. The following is my enclosure:
ICY DOCK MB662US-2S dual bay 3.5" SATA I & II to eSATA / USB 2.0 Screw-less external hard drive RAID enclosure for Mac & PC

I am trying to pass it to my OpenSolaris guest and let OpenSolaris to manage the dual disks with its ZFS utilities. However, I am unable to pass the USB device to my guest even I add it in the usb filter.
Please help.
