Hey everyone!

I got an M-Audio UNO cord to plug my digital piano into my linux machine. I have it up and running but I'm virtualizing Reason 4 and Sibelius 5 under windows 7. I want to use my "midi keyboard" for these programs but i'm not sure how to tell VBox to tell Windows 7 to use it. Does anyone know how?

i'm running ubuntu 9.10 if it helps.

thanks!

Mathieu

The problem I believe is with Windows 7, and its crappy support for USB/MIDI devices. My Casio keyboard has NO Windows 7 drivers. I was able to create a Win XP virtualbox...connect the keyboard via usb, and in VB, rihgt click and select "unknown device". Windows 7 does not recognize it, but Windows XP will, and then I can load my drivers. My other software does not work in the VB XP, however, that is another post... Build an XP box and see if that works better.
