Where do I find the current guestadditions.iso?

Hello!
I just installed VirtualBox 3.1.2, but even after using the Windows file search
on my MS Vista-Host-Computer I could not find the current guestadditions.iso-file
for my Windows 7 x64 guest-system.
Where should I find it, what can I do if I won't find it there
(is there a standalone-download of the iso-file?)?
Thank you!

It should be in C:\Program Files\Sun\VirtualBox\, but you don't need to know that to use it.
Simply use the Device>Install Guest Additions... menu in the VM (from the VM window menu or from the VM mini-toolbar).

Hello!
Thanks for the quick reply - but at the named place there is only
an older file from december. I have the guest additions 3.0.10
installed. Neither version 3.0.12 nor the current version 3.1.2
of the guest additions seem to be available.
When only using 'install guest additions' nothing happens; I guess
because this would install the already installed version.
Any other hints?
Thank you!

Hello - and thank you!
Although I have been searching for quite some time before registering
to post my problem, I didn't find the hyperlink. But now I have ...
If it is necessary to activate e. g. JavaScript to be able to fully use the
search-option this should please be told on the pages.
If have installed the guest-additions 3.1.2 now - but it was not possible
to be done the suggested way: I have mounted another file (the new
iso) but using the menu-entry 'install guest-additions' (roughly
translated from the german version of virtualbox I use) did not
result in any installation. Therefore I opened the explorer and
doubleclicked on the device 'd:\' which started the installation
of the guest-additions.
Thank you.
