Windows NT 4.0 with Sp6a.
When I install the "guest additions" one file will not install. The file is VBoxserviceNT.exe.
The log, "install-ui" is extracting the file ok it is saying but then there is a message
"Can't wrte C:\WINNT\System32\VBoxServiceNT.exe"
All the guest files seem to install ok.
Any ideas please
If i look in the Video drivers I see the SUN video driver is loaded but I can not change screen resolution. As this comes up as soon as the system has booted. It is telling me the screen resolution is wrong. I can increase the resolution, test it, accept it and the machine says to reboot. ASfter re booting the changes have not taken effect.
Any ideas please.
The version of virtualbox is 3.0.12 r54655. NT is a guest on a Fedora 12 host 64 bit machine. AMD processor. the Virtual machine for NT is set 67 MB Video , 610 mB RAM, VT-x/AMD-V enabled, nested paging disabled, ACPI enabled, Enable IO_ACPI not ticked, extended features not enabled.
The mother board is a ASUS M2N-MX SE+ with a AMD processor. A no=ACPI has been added to the boot options because there us a timer issue with ACPI
When I try to load a program ie run a setup.exe, file I get a message to say the
"program is to big to fit in memory"
Again any ideas
Any assistance would be of great value in \sorting these issues. XP as a guest seem to work very well.
