this has probebly been asked loads before, but I am new at this and am trying to run an OEM copy of WIndows XP SP2 from a Dell computer in VB on a Ubuntu 9.10 host system.
When I start the machine made for XP in Virtualbox and boot from CD it says:
FATAL: Could not read from the boot medium! System halted.
i dont know what this is meaning?? The disk is not going to work?
setting are wrong?? i dont know
any help or a way to get xp to run in Virtualbox on linux from a reinstall CD would be great.
