This is my first post and am total noob, so please keep that in mind. Thanks.

I have a new mac server with snow leopard running Virtual box 3.1.0. So far, I have installed Untangle (a linux gateway) and Ubuntu Server 9. I am trying to install Centos5.4 x86_64 but the install has been giving me fits, mostly wiht VB recognizing the iso.
Ultimately, I got the install to start by having VB choose the image "boot.iso" but the install hangs at:

Net: Registered Protocol Family 2

Is this relative to the image I chose? I saw a similar post in theses forums regarding a Solaris box and a few posts on Google for FEdora, et.al.

Any help from someone who has an answer would be greatly appreciated.

Ok...Back to the noob thing...

After messing with the processor settings for the VM , the install got underway but then refused to acknolwledge my centos disk in the drive. I beleive I solved that by goign to the images settings (via the stacked disk icon) and clicking on the boot.iso image already there. At this point, the installation is checkign the media and appears to be progressing as expected.

Did I miss a tutorial somewhere? --Les
