Hi, I am using Mac OS X Leapoard.
I have Ubuntu on my vmware and would like to move Ubuntu to virtualbox. Is there a way to do this? I dont' want to end up having to install Ubuntu from scratch when I can just move it.

VBOX is able to handle vmdk-files.

.
The vmdk file could be anywhere on your computer, you'll have to look through every individual directory till you find it. That's my bit of humour out of the way.
When you installed Vmware, it would have asked you where to put the virtual machine, and that's the directory in which you'll find the vmdk file. A virtual machine is just a file on the host, or if you selected it in the Vmware install, a number of 2Gb vmdk files. You can always use the search function on your host to find it.
Having said that, migrating from Vmware to VB is not a trivial task. Search these forums for "import vmware" to get pointers on how to do it. Before you do anything.
