When starting machine system tells:

The virtuell machine couldnt be started.
VT-x is not available. (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX).
Unknown error creating VM (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX):

If you have a real Mac, and not a Hackintosh, then you don't need to worry about the BIOS.
You will need to make sure that the Intel CPU in your Mac supports VT-x.

As long as your host has an Intel processor, it will work, it won't work on a Mac with a PowerPC like a G5. If you don't have an Intel CPU capable of VT-x, you can always turn off that setting in VirtualBox and let VirtualBox do everything through software.
