Virtualbox not grabbing mouse properly or scrolling correct

Hi
Have been using virtualbox for the about 2 days now and have come across a slightly annoying thing. The program does not seem to be grabbing the mouse properly when I click in the virtual os window. This is not something contained to just one of the virtual devices either. Both Icaros and Windows 98 display the same problem.
What happens is that when I click inside the window the mouse grabs as normal. But then as if by magic the mouse then pops back outside the window if I get too close to the bottom edge. I am not hitting the host key either by mistake as I have this assigned to the right shift key, which is a key I never use. Is there some option some where that I am missing or is this something that happens with everyone and I am been incredibly dense.
With windows 98 this is not such an important thing as I am only using it to play a couple of games which don't need mouse input. But icaros is my main virtual machine as it contains all my working Amiga programs and I use the mouse for everything.
Also my scroll wheel seems to be acting a little iffy in both virtual machines. The scrolling seems to twitch when I try to scroll either up or down. By this I mean for every time I try to scroll in either direction, for every unit it moves in that direction it jumps back an equal amount. Also when I scroll there is a good chance the mouse pointer shoots off somewhere and I have to go finding it.
I know this probably sounds a little dense in how I described it but it's a rather annoying thing.
