vbox email addr used for spam

It appears as if my email addr used in vbox registation, bugtracker and forum was abused.
Has anyone else observed this? Is any breakin or leakage known?

Nothing known about this, but remember that any address can be used as a From address, nobody checks if this is valid, email addresses are soled by the millions, only the recipient matters in mail delivery.

in this case recepient was vboxbmw@lsmod. de (space added to protect from harvesters)
and this is worrying by itself as sun should have been the only ones knowing it. Or did you mean sun is selling our email addrs by the millions?

I haven't seen any indication sun sells anything, that address might have been somewhere else then here and has gotten harvetist.
