VirtualBox Guest Not Connecting to VPN On Snow Leopard

I used to access the VPN connection in my host machine from my Windows XP guest. Since upgrading to 10.6 (10.6.2), I can no longer access the host's vpn.

I have tried setting up the VPN in the guest itself. Though it finds the VPN IP address, it says that host does not respond.

I need to access this VPN from the guest. Any ideas?

Host: OSX 10.6.2
VirtualBox Version: 3.0.12
Windows Guest: XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3

I am having similar issues with the Windows XP guest. Everything was fine until the last upgrade (within the month of Dec '09).

Before, I could work in the Windows XP guest window with access to internet, including Cisco VPN client, without issue. I was able to determine which network config worked.

After the last upgrade, I can access the internet on my MacBook Pro host, but cannot bring internet into the Windows XP guest environment. I've tried different network cards, downloaded and re-installed the Intel e1000 drivers in the Windows XP guest window, troubleshooting the network config in Windows, but haven't been able to resolve the issue.

Host: OSX 10.5.8
VirtualBox Version: 3.0.12
Windows Guest: XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3
