I'm having a really weird issue, and hopefully you all can give me ideas on how to fix it.

Whenever I try to run Desktop Effects, the VM just crashes, no log is recorded or anything. I am running Fedora 12 x86-64.

Settings are:

OS Type: Fedora (64 bit)

System
Base Memory: 1024 MB
Processor(s): 2
Boot Order: Hard Disk, CD/DVD-ROM
VT-x/AMD-V: Enabled
Nested Paging: Disabled
?
Display
Video Memory: 64 MB
3D Acceleration: Enabled
2D Video Acceleration: Disabled

Storage
IDE Controller
IDE Primary Master: Fedora 12.vdi (Normal, 8.00 GB)

Audio
Host Driver: CoreAudio Controller: ICH AC97

Network
Adapter 1:Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop (NAT)

?Steps to reproduce:
1) System > Preferences > Desktop Effects

Any help is most appreciated!

Try opening a terminal and running "glxgears". Does it segfault?
