I want to know if there is a way to create a VM from an existing real PC. I tried creating an image from the hard drive of that computer over the network. I converted that to a vdi and used it as a new machine, but a fatal error was displayed, pointing to a no bootable drive.
Perhaps I didn't do the copy correctly? Is there a way to have VBox do the process? Another tool I should use to make the image?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Browse the forums, there are quite a few threads here about how to do this.
