Fedora 12 network connection over Airport

I have Fedora 12 installed as the guest on a Snow Leopard host. I installed the Guest Additions and added a second network adapter. The Guest OS correctly picks ups eth1 network connection (the network status icons show the eth1 network selected/boldfaced), but I cannot pass data. I performed an ifconfig and everything actually looks normal. The statistics show a few packets have been both transmitted and received, but pings and browser sessions don't work.

I have a Win 7 guest and it does work.

Any ideas?

What network settings have you set for the Guest? is the airport active before the VM is started?

This appears to be a PEBKAC issue. I restarted and was able to select eth1 from the connection list and voila, I have internet.

Sorry to bother.
