i have 3 mac minis (10.5.8) running virtual box 3.1.0 with win xp sp3 and guest additions set up on each. i have 2 printers that are industry specific pc-only printers. i have no problems getting the printer to work correctly on my xp guest, but i'm trying to share it across the network so that the other 2 xp sp3 machines have access. file and print sharing is on. exceptions set up in firewall. firewall is still enabled, however, due to group policies. the printer shows up in the active printer directory, but when i try to add it, it says that it cannot add the printer, access is denied. seems like there is something 'simple' im missing. any ideas?

i forgot to check the adapter interface... was NAT. switched it to bridged. no more issues.
